Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241 Review

I purchased my second Toshiba Satellite computer about a month ago, and as before it’s delivered exceptional performance. There are many reasons this is the top choice for a laptop in my opinion, from style to durability, and of course performance.

Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241 Specs

The 15.6 inch screen delivers Mobile Intel HD graphics and 1366X768 pixels. It is very clear and features a widescreen display perfect for watching movies, or working on. The browser is Microsoft Edge, and is built in along with Windows 10 so you can get going fast.

The Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241 has a resin finish and comes in matte black, which looks sleek and professional. It’s slim which is great for carrying with you to classes or work, and I can say I’ve had mine slide off the desk or my lap on occasion and it didn’t break. So unless you’re throwing it up against a wall or something it should stand the test of time. There are ports for you to use a headset, hook up your printer, or connect to speakers or bluetooth devices.

What’s Inside?

  1. Core i5 5200u 2.2 GHz
  2. 8 GB DDR3L SDRAM memory
  3. 1 TB 5400 RPM storage
  4. Mobile Intel HD graphics 5500 graphics coprocessor

If you’re a computer genius you’ll get why this is excellent, but if you’re like me what it means is you will have all the power necessary to multitask through your day without frustration. Install apps and browse the internet at speeds you desire.

Another benefit that I love is that the battery will last at least 5 hours unplugged. I hate dragging a charger around with me, so this allows me to bring my Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241 to the coffee shop to work, or on the road with me and it still has enough juice for me to get work done when I find free wi-fi. Then I just charge it at my destination!

Overall I’ve found the laptop is an awesome deal in comparison to others in its class. You’ll find it competitively priced and that it delivers more than expected.
